What to expect
A mountain village of the Municipality of Sikyonia on the north-eastern foothills of Mount Ziria, at about 620 metres, with views of the Corinthian Gulf, Kiato and the Alkyonides islands. The church of the Dormition (1906) stands on its paved square. Residents grow rozaki and sultana grapes and olives; during the 1821 War of Independence the area, together with Kryoneri, served as a camp for revolutionary leaders.
