Kryoneri lies in the mountainous hinterland of Sikyonia, above Kiato. Its name says it plainly: the area is known for its cold running waters.
The observatory
The Kryoneri Observatory operates here, taking advantage of clear skies and altitude. It is one of those things that give mountain Corinthia a character nobody expects.
The village
A quiet settlement with a square, fountains and views down the valley. It makes a good stop on a route climbing from the coast up into the mountain villages.
