Vasiliko, also known as Sikyona, sits on the plateau above Kiato. The village is built on the site of ancient Sikyon, one of the most important cities of ancient Greece in the field of art.
The ancient city
Sikyon was famous for its painting and bronze sculpture; its school influenced the entire Greek world. Today the visitor sees the ancient theatre — among the largest in the Peloponnese — the stadium, and the archaeological museum housed inside a Roman bath.

A quiet farming settlement with views over the gulf and the plain, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
