What to expect
A village of Tenea in the Municipality of Corinth, close to Chiliomodi and Koutalas, in semi-mountainous farming country. It is known for the Holy Cross Convent, built on the site of an older monastery of Saint Nicholas the New, whose small church survives as a chapel. The convent celebrates the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (14 September) and runs its own dairy.
