Beaches with natural shade in Corinthia

In Corinthia you do not always need an umbrella. On several beaches of the Corinthian Gulf and the Gerania mountains the trees come right down to the water, so you can spend the whole day by the sea without burning. This list gathers beaches that our guide records with natural shade from pines, olive trees or other trees close to the shore. Most of them have pebbles and clear water; some are quiet coves with no facilities, while others have a café or a taverna nearby. Before you set off, check each beach page for how to get there, whether you need a car and how far it is from Kiato, Corinth or Loutraki. In July and August go early: the shade under the trees is the first spot to be taken. Bring water with you, as not every beach has a shop close by.
