Katakali sits on the eastern coast of Corinthia, in the stretch running down from Almyri towards Korfos. It is a small settlement without tourist pressure, and its beaches stay relatively quiet even in August.
What you will find
Clear water, small coves and pine-covered slopes that come close to the sea. The area is popular for holiday homes and for calm family holidays.
It makes a good starting point for exploring the eastern coast — a side of Corinthia most visitors never see.
History and character
Until 1915 the settlement was called Nezeika.
