Goura lies in mountain Corinthia, at the foot of Ziria (Kyllini), the second highest mountain in the Peloponnese. It is one of those villages that completely overturn the usual picture of the region.

The village

Goura works as the local centre of the area, with a square, tavernas and places to stay. In winter it fills with visitors to the mountain, while in summer it offers cool air when the coast is baking.
