In southern Corinthia, near the village of Klenia and the wider area of ancient Tenea, lies a cave belonging to the karst system of the local limestone hills.

The setting

Southern Corinthia is full of limestone formations: they explain the sinkholes, springs and caves found all the way from Stymphalia down to Chiliomodi.

The visit

This is not a developed show cave. The area is mainly of interest to those combining it with ancient Tenea and the villages of southern Corinthia.

Practical notes

• Near Klenia.
• No facilities or signage — ask locally.
• Do not enter caves without experience and equipment.
