Koutsi is a wine village in the Nemea area, 25.2 km south-west of Corinth and about 17 km from Vrachati.
What to expect
The village lies north-east of Nemea on the road to Stimanga, at around 400 metres, overlooking the Nemea plain. It is surrounded by Agiorgitiko vineyards of the Nemea PDO zone, and several established wineries operate here. During the War of Independence Kolokotronis used the village as a hospital, and in its north-western part there is an old foreigners’ cemetery shaded by cypresses. Ancient Phlius is 2 km away.
