Amoni Beaches (Megalo & Mikro)

At the south-eastern edge of Corinthia, near Korfos, two neighbouring coves — Megalo and Mikro Amoni — rank among the most beautiful shores in the region.

What to expect

Pebble beaches with very clear, deep water and pine-covered slopes all around. The distance from the cities and the winding road keep them relatively quiet even in August.

They are favourites with people arriving by boat, since the bay offers good shelter.

Practical notes

• Reached via Sofiko and Korfos; allow time for the drive.
• Minimal facilities — bring supplies, water and a parasol.
• The pebbles call for water shoes, especially for children.
