What to expect
A small seaside settlement on the Corinthian Gulf, close to the border with Attica, barely 16 metres above sea level. The Alkyonides islets are visible to the north-west, and nearby is Mavrolimni, a lake that joined the sea after the 1981 earthquake and now has a fine-pebble shore and a small shelter for boats. It belongs to the Pisia community along with Agia Sotira and Mavrolimni.
