Mavrolimni lies on the Corinthian Gulf coast, 19.7 km north-east of Corinth, roughly 14.2 km from Loutraki.
What to expect
A seaside settlement of the Pisia community, together with Vamvakies and Schinos, that comes to life mainly in summer. It is named after a small lake once separated from the sea by a natural barrier; in the 1981 Alkyonides earthquake part of that barrier gave way and the lake joined the Corinthian Gulf, becoming a lagoon. The surrounding coast has clear water, with Schinos and Vamvakies close by.
