Lygia lies 47.1 km north-west of Corinth, roughly 2.9 km from Derveni.
What to expect
A seaside village (about 300 residents) on the southern shore of the Corinthian Gulf, east of the Derveni river and close to the border with Achaia. Agia Varvara beach stretches either side of the chapel of the same name, pebbly and easy to reach. Worth seeing are the church of Agios Spyridon (1886), with fine interior decoration, and Agios Konstantinos (1903) on the hill of the same name.
