Alkyona is a small seaside settlement on the Alkyonides Gulf, 15.1 km north of Corinth and about 10.8 km from Loutraki.
What to expect
The settlement lies on the south-western shore of the Alkyonides Gulf, on the Perachora peninsula, and has very few permanent residents. Sea-kayak trips to the Seal’s Cave (Spilia tis Fokias), a rocky arch with clear water less than 1 km away, set off from Alkyona beach. The coastline here is rocky, with pine trees reaching down to the sea.
