Agia Sotira lies 15 km north-east of Corinth, roughly 9.7 km from Loutraki.
What to expect
A coastal settlement in the northern foothills of the Gerania mountains, at the head of the bay of the same name in the Alkyonides Gulf, with its own beach. Its landmark is the Byzantine church of the Transfiguration, a two-column cross-in-square building with an octagonal Athenian-type dome and fragments of wall paintings. The surrounding area was badly hit by the 2021 wildfires.
